Second Annual Conference on “Energy Needs of Indian Railways”

Prodyut Mukherjee will be a speaker in the Second Annual Conference on “Energy Needs of Indian Railways” to be held on 06 and 07 April, 2017 at The Lalit, New Delhi.
The objective of this conference is to highlight Indian Railway’s energy requirements for more competitively priced, cleaner power and more energy efficient equipment and technologies.
The conference will provide a forum for interaction between the Indian Railway and the industry and will also showcase the promising technologies and noteworthy initiatives.

In this conference, he will be speaking on “Renewable Initiatives and Showcase”, highlighting on the issues such as Indian Railways targeting 5 GW solar capacity by 2025 across the country, with a focus on the key features (scope, size, cost, technology, status) strategies and challenges.
