One Mega Event – 2018

Ajit Pandit actively participated as a speaker and panelist in the Session titled “Examining the Solar Policy Roadmap to Achieve Ambitious Targets” in One Mega Event organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and Exhibitions India Group, on 23 May 2018, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The session revisited the policy support needed to comprehend India’s 2022 target of 100 GW of solar installed capacity and focused on the key policy hurdles to be addressed to promulgate utility scale, and rooftop solar. Ajit Pandit expressed his views on the multiple policy interventions required both at the central and state level to help increase deployment of solar energy in the country. He also emphasized on the interventions required to address issues surrounding slow growth of solar rooftop installations.
