One-Day Stakeholders’ Consultation Workshop on ‘Addressing Barriers to Scaling-Up Renewable Energy’ – Delhi

Idam in partnership with The Indian Renewable Energy Federation (IREF) successfully organised a one-day stakeholders’ consultation workshop on ‘Addressing Barriers to Scaling-Up Renewable Energy’ for the Northern regions on 20 June 2018 at Delhi. The initiative was supported by Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation (SSEF).

The proposed workshops identified regional barriers and challenges for grid-connected renewable energy as well as rooftop solar projects at the central and state level.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Balawant Joshi, Member, Governing Council, IREF and Managing Director, Idam Infra along with Mr. V. Subramanian, IAS (Retd.), Former Secretary, MNRE and Chief Mentor, IREF as well as Mr. Krishan Dhawan, CEO, Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation.

The workshop witnessed participation from many quarters, including distribution utilities, service companies and project developers. Consultants, developers, service companies, researchers, distribution utilities, industry associations, and others participated in the open discussion to share their views/opinions.
