• Will work directly on project or assignment with the clients as Team Leader or Project Manager.
• Manage projects/assignments independently with due focus on quality, timelines, profitability, client satisfaction, etc.
• Manage a team of analysts and consultants. Motivate, drive and inspire the team to deliver consistently and share responsibility to disseminate knowledge to junior team members.
• Responding to EOI / RFQ / RFP/ tenders released by respective authorities pertaining to the various projects. Conducting business development activities in the field of Industrial Decarbonisation, benchmarking studies and allied areas.
• Maintaining high-level customer interactions and helping the reporting manager in enquiry generation, marketing strategy development, go-to-market of new solutions and thought leadership development.
• Analyse critical reviews of existing or proposed policy frameworks and assist in formulating new policies considering the appropriate mechanism and governance structure.
• Undertake sector wise analysis and provide process support related to regulation and preparation of training material, policy recommendations at international, central and state level.
• Undertake Energy Efficiency, GHG reduction. and Decarbonisation studies. Preparation of action plan/strategy for executing/deployment of Decarbonisation technologies.
• Undertake technical and financial feasibility assessment of projects for various ID technologies. Preparation of Detailed Project Report as per the requirement of the client or financial institutions.
• Maintaining and developing operational processes to maximize the efficiency of the team and ensuring client value.

Job Description

• Conduct primary and secondary research and critical analysis related to renewable energy and its policy and regulatory provisions in Indian as well as international energy markets.
• Undertake data compilation, tracking, and analysis of various parameters concerning energy markets such as generator characteristics, tenders, load forecasts etc.
• Support energy modelling and forecasting activities through data compilation, handling of various software and tools, and detailed extraction and interpretation of results.
• Support project execution through analyses, reports, presentations etc.
• Contribute to BD / outreach activities such as preparing proposals, concept notes, discussion papers, brochures, etc. and actively support in organizing roundtables, workshops, and other types of stakeholder engagement.
• Timely completion of the assigned tasks and provide timely support to team members.
• Ability to understand and analyze central and state level Renewable Energy policies and develop an overall understanding and vision of energy transition.
• A strong report writing skill along with the ability to carry out primary and secondary research.
• Basic knowledge of renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, battery storage, hydro, green hydrogen, offshore wind, etc.
• Fair understanding of financial analysis/evaluation of different renewable energy technologies and familiarity with energy economics concepts.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance with a proactive approach.
• Ability to carry out assignments with a collaborative spirit with the team.
• Ability to think critically and ability to devise innovative solutions.
• Eagerness to tackle new projects and ideas
• Coding languages and tools (Python, R, VBA)
• Hands-on modelling experience (Plexos, PyPSA, GAMS etc.)
• Hands-on experience in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc.

Job Description

• Analysis of accounting/ tax issues associated with regulatory/ corporate advisory assignments.
• Preparation of financial models.
• Analysis of EOI / RFQ / RFP tenders released by respective authorities pertaining to various Regulatory Projects.
• Analysis of existing or proposed policy frameworks
• Analysis and research: Various regulations, Tariff orders and Judgments issued by SERC, CERC and ATE. )
• Analysis of tariff petitions, replies, comments etc at central and state level.
