Rajiv has more than 20 years of progressive experience in the field of energy efficiency, demand-side management, renewable energy and climate change. His experience covers technical, regulatory and policy aspects of energy efficiency and DSM.
He has carried out more than hundred detailed energy audits in industrial, commercial, and municipal sectors. He has assisted two distribution utilities in India in design and development of DSM programmes. He was actively involved in the development of regulatory framework for institutionalizing DSM in utility sector in India. He also assisted Indian Experts on Task XV (network-driven DSM) and Task XVIII (DSM and climate change) of the International Energy Agency’s DSM programme. He assisted a private-sector distribution utility in the design, development, and implementation of India’s first demand response programme. In addition to government and private sector clients in India, he has also worked as a consultant with several multilateral and bilateral organizations such as the British High Commission, UNDP, International Energy Agency, and GEF etc.
Rajiv holds B.E. in Chemical from Gujarat University. He is a Certified Energy Auditor and Accredited Energy Auditor from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India. He is also a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional.
Reena has over 20 years of professional experience in power transmission projects (EHV/HT/LT) execution, regulatory and policy advocacy, contract management, project management and monitoring.
Her professional experience domain involves strategic planning, business development, regulatory and policy advocacy, pre-developmental approval processes, financer and lender’s engineer co-ordination, engineering, contract management, project management and monitoring, procurement co-ordination, cash flow management, vendor payment management, statutory approvals co-ordination, pre and post commissioning processes management, operation and maintenance for conventional and solar power projects evacuation system. She also has expertise in Case 1/Case 2 bidding support for thermal power projects, seeking long term/short term open access at central and state levels, transaction advisory on Tariff Based Bidding Guidelines and PPP framework.
Reena holds B.E. in Civil from the Government College of Engineering, Pune. She also holds M. Tech in Water Resources and MBA in Technology Management, both from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and Mumbai respectively to her credit.
Anant has over 27 years of extensive experience in the government sector specific to hydro power generation, renewable energy, regulatory insights and energy management. His expertise includes drafting of Regulations for Electricity Regulatory Commissions and framing policy documents for government related to hydro power sector.
He has assisted MERC in scrutiny of petitions, drafting of orders related to renewable energy, thermal and hydro generation, and proposals of DSM activities, drafting of MERC – Net Metering for Solar Rooftop Photo Voltaic Systems Regulations, 2015 and Renewable Energy Tariff Regulations, 2015.
He was also involved in the World Bank funded e-governance project of WRD, framing of government policy for the development of SHPs (up to 25 MW) through privatization. He also has expertise in working on large hydro projects such as Koyna HEP, Ghatghar pumped hydro project, erection, testing, commissioning and O&M of small HEPs.
Anant holds B.E. in Electrical and M. Tech in Energy from Pune University. He is a Certified Energy Auditor from Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India.
Pavankumar has 13 years of experience in infrastructure and government advisory, project finance, project monitoring and follow up, financial analysis. He has assisted governments and regulators in implementing sector-based policies. Out of his total experience, he has seven years of experience in power sector and energy efficiency sector. His professional experience domain includes financial modelling, energy efficiency and renewable energy policy analysis, project structuring and project management.
He has assisted the Government of Andhra Pradesh in the development of suitable policies for the development of textiles sector, mobilised investment in textile sector. He has provided inputs in the preparation of Textile and Apparel Policy. He has supported Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission in the preparation of tariff orders for power utilities, development of policies for various renewable energy technologies.
Pavankumar holds B. Tech in Electronics and Communications from the Acharya Nagarjuna University and MBA in Finance and Operations from the University of Hyderabad.
