Workshop on Scoping Mission for Solar Rooftop

Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) and KfW in partnership with Idam Infra organized a Workshop on “Scoping Mission for Solar Rooftop” on June 17, 2019 at Hotel Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai. The objective of the workshop is to interact and evaluate the interest of organizations such as the key departments of the Government of Maharashtra (including PWD, Education, Health, Irrigation, Home, Power and Energy) and other public sector entities operating in the State of Maharashtra where substantial potential may exist for the installation and deployment of solar rooftop solutions.

Hon’ble Minister (Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation, Agriculture and PWD (Excluding Undertakings) Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil delivered the inaugural address in the Inaugural session of the workshop. Various departments of Govt. of Maharashtra such as PWD, Municipal Corporations, Public and Private Hospitals/Institutions, Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO), Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) and Banks/financial institutions participated in this workshop.
