One-Day Stakeholders’ Consultation Workshop on ‘Addressing Barriers to Scaling-Up Renewable Energy’

Idam in partnership with The Indian Renewable Energy Federation (IREF) is organising one-day stakeholders’ consultation workshop on ‘Addressing Barriers to Scaling-Up Renewable Energy’ for the Southern regions on 08 June 2018 at GRT Grand, Chennai in association with Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA) and for the western regions on 12 June 2018 at Narayani Heights, Ahmedabad. The initiative is supported by Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation (SSEF).

The proposed workshops aim to identify the regional barriers and challenges in wind power development as well as discuss business models to promote deployment of solar rooftop systems at the Central and State level.

The workshop will witness participation from many quarters, including distribution utilities, service companies and project developers. Consultants, developers, service companies, researchers, distribution utilities, industry associations, and others are invited to participate and share their views/opinions.
