India Electric Vehicles Conclave – 2017

Idam Infrastructure Advisory Private Limited as Knowledge Partner is supporting the PHD Chamber in organising “India Electric Vehicles Conclave – 2017” on 22 December 2017,
09:45 am at PHD House, New Delhi to address the technical aspects and issues for growth of the Electric Vehicles (E-Vehicle) industry in India.

This initiative is an effort to establish the country’s vision to become an E-Vehicle nation by 2030 through mass adoption of E-Vehicles. The platform provides an open discussion on issues such as capacity building, inadequate standards for recycling or disposing batteries, expensive batteries, insufficient E-Vehicle charging infrastructure and connectivity, which requires to be addressed for rapid diffusion of E-Vehicle to 1.3 billion Indian population. The discussion will be supported by a large number of delegates such as auto manufacturers, financial institutions, renewable companies, transport authorities, traffic planners, testing institutions, transport operators, manufacturers, policy makers, information technology (IT) companies and public sector units (PSUs).

India’s ambitious vision to become 100% E-Vehicle nation by 2030 has been envisaged after analysing the key aspects of introducing 10,000 electric buses and 50,000 electric rickshaws, besides pushing for thousands of battery-operated cars and two-wheelers, which will save approximately 9,500 million litres of crude oil.
